Description — 30 volumes (25.5 x 18 x 20 cm in all, 6 kg), pict. softcovers, b&w and color pictures. Text in Japanese.
Condition — VG (light wear to covers, tears to 1 back).
Review — A wonderful selection of MORIYAMA Daido's original magazine works in Asahi Journal (7 pages in each issue, gravure: 9 b&w gravure series and 9 color) and Weekly Playboy Japan (7 color p. in each issue), of his best period. With some additional series of note by NAKAHIRA Takuma (2 b&w series in Asahi Journal, 1 b&w in Playboy), FUKASE Masahisa (2 b&w series & 1 color in Asahi Journal) and SHINOYAMA Kishin (1 b&w series in Asahi Journal, 1 color in Playboy) and TAKANASHI Yutaka (1 b&w series in Asahi Journal).
Misc. — Both magazines were weekly general magazines for men (Playboy obviously more markedly so). Asahi Journal: 110-120 p. with 3 pictorial sections in each issue (2 b&w gravure of the best printing quality, 1 color) and each section is usually 4-8 pages long with full-page/-spread pics. Weekly Playboy Japan: 150-170 p. per issue (articles with illustrations, 2-3 pictorial sections, color & b&w), in which MORIYAMA had a serialized 'SEX no Eizo' (color nude pics, 7 p.).
