Review — Shashin Kagaku (Photography Science, Nov.1943-Oct.1944) is the short-lived successor of the photo magazine / journal Shashin Bunka. The main feature is a remarkable photo-reportage on The Two Agricultures (traditional & modern) by MIDORIKAWA Yoichi (12 p., great portraits, interesting layout), with also: ice block-cutting and trading in Hokkaido by KUMOI Nobuo (4 p.), how tatami is made by OOMORI Kazuo (6 p.), magnetic fields (6 p.), and more technical articles (microscope photography..).
