OUT OF STOCK
Description — Large ring-bound photo-album (32.5 x 28.5 x 2 cm), 18 p. with protective transparent plastic leaves, 4 square original color prints per page (72 photos in total, each approx. 9 x 9 cm). The protective plastic leaves stick thanks to thin glue lines on the page that also prevent the pictures from sliding; the protective sheets can be removed easily without damage but a lot of care will be needed if you want to remove the pictures.
Condition — VG (browned page outer margins, general light yellowing).
Review — An album full of fine color pictures, mainly of steam locomotives rushing forward through the wonderful snowy landscapes of Hokkaido, the Northern-most part of Japan. (In one picture, the unknown photographer poses in front of a board that reads 'Kitami Kamui Misaki'.) There are in Japan, nowadays still, quite a number of hardcore fans of steam locomotives. The last SL was retired in 1976. A fair number of pictures in this album are quite remarkable and beautiful.
