Remarques & avis / Review — The surprising catalogue of the Japan Advertising Photographers' Association (APA / Nihon Koukoku Shashinka Kyoukai) 1972 Exhibition, themed 'Scandal', that reproduces, in various sizes, the full 407 photographs present in the exhibition, in contrasted b&w on large, cheap, newspaper-like and-sized paper. A very interesting and eclectic collection, by photographers by definition mostly unknown to the general photobook-collector public (being advertising photographers), with submissions that range from strange nudes to a very bold 'Nothing' ('Nashi' by KANOH Tenmei / Noriaki), opening with a 8-pic series by TAKEI Satoshi. Early 1970s goodness.
