Remarques & avis / Review — Published a few months after Mishima's death, this impressive folio-sized re-edition of Barakei (1963) was designed by YOKOO Tadanori and is a completely different book altogether. The first section entails color drawings by YOKOO and landscapes by HOSOE; pictures were re-ordered; the whole is enshrined in a superb, mausoleum-like case of Indian Buddhist inspiration. A masterwork of '70s book design and book crafting.
