Remarques & avis / Review — The continuation of Chikuho no Kodomotachi (1960), which focuses on a little girl left in an orphanage. Great contrasted monochrome portraits, in a very fragile volume. A greater feeling of continuity and sentimental attachment than in the first opus, due to the focus on one life story. A masterwork by Ken DOMON. Uncommon.
La suite de Chikuho no Kodomotachi (1960), qui suit une petite fille confiée à un orphelinat. Superbes portraits monochromes contrastés, en un volume très fragile. Un plus grand sentiment de continuité et d'attachement sentimental que dans le premier opus, du fait de la focalisation sur l'histoire d'une vie. Un chef d'œuvre par DOMON Ken. Peu courant.
